Join Dr. Caroline DeVan of NJIT and TCC learn about fireflies. We'll discuss identifying fireflies, how to find them, firefly diversity and conservation. Then we'll count the fireflies living at Teaneck Creek. We will submit our data to the the Firefly Atlas Community Watch to help document where fireflies are found. Free. Adults, Teens, Families, Ages 10+. Rain date: July 23 What to bring: - A glass jar with holes punched in the top - A headlamp with a red setting if you have one. If you don't, we can help you modify a flashlight! Light rain or shine. Registrants will be notified by email if the program is canceled. No restrooms available. Questions?
